All students can complete One Time Registration (OTR) on National Scholarship Portal on the NSP OTR App. This application uses Aadhaar Face RD services to authenticate the user from UIDAI.
Face authentication will not require external biometric devices. For this, the user can download the Aadhaar Face RD App from the Google Play Store.

- Read the Guidelines for OTR Scholarships Hosted on NSP.
- Now, Accept the terms and conditions, then click on the Next button.
- Enter your mobile number and captcha code for OTP Verification.
- Once you Verify, click on the next button.
- Now you will reach the e-KYC page.
- You need to Fill out the required information such as Name, Address, Aadhar number, Gender etc. and click on the Next button.
- Scan and attach the required documents such as Address Certificate, Income certificate, Bank Passbook, Passport Size Photo etc.
- Click on the Submit button.
- Finally, your registration process has been completed and you have e Unique OTR Number.
How to apply for Scholarship using NSP OTR
After Successful Registration of NSP OTR, you will get your Reference Number on your Registered Mobile Number.
Download the NSP OTR App and Face RD Services from the Google Play Store.
Now complete the Face Authentication process using the Reference Number generated for OTR sent to your given mobile number.
Once you complete the Face Authentication, your NSP OTR will be Generated.
Now you can apply for a scholarship using OTR, just generating OTR is not equal to applying for a scholarship.
